Recently the canal and River Trust have posted videos on social media regarding plastic bottles etc in our canals and waterways.

In these videos it show a "few" plastic bottles nothing much, so I thought I would post this video that I've been hanging onto for a bit to show how much plastic and rubbish is in the canal around Blackburn and Burnley and who seems to be responsible for a lot of it...

This isn't a new thing in this area this has been going on for years it was the same when I visited three years ago despite there being a canal and River Trust Office very nearby.

You would think with all the agencies that are linked to the canal and river Trust such as the environmental agency the council they should be able to take Immediate and swift action against these criminals, who are using the canal as their rubbish bins from their houses and their businesses..

There's also a couple of pictures of the services that we are paying extra for😱. I would like to invite anybody from the Canal and River Trust hierarchy to come and use these facilities..

There are also a few pictures of the damage and repairs that need doing and that have been done.

They are purposely in my opinion not keeping up with the maintenance and then closing them because it will cost too much to repair them.(The services)

Just a side note the Leeds on Liverpool Canal is beautiful apart from a few areas which I've highlighted in this video....

To fix the canals and reservoirs will cost billions of pounds it would be one of the biggest engineering repairs I think England's ever seen apart from the wars, having to rebuild. I don't see how a " Charitable trust which has more office workers than anything else and needs to rely on volunteers can even begin to have a clue on what they're doing.....
