"I wrote and recorded the audio of this song as a Christmas single in 2003. This is my protest song against child labour. When I wrote the song, my daughter, Shekinah, was 9 years old and so the pathos of this protest was fired by imagining my 9 year old in the story line of this song" (Reuben Kigame, Eldoret, Kenya).
