Описание к видео Brain injury recovery | stroke recovery | Parkinson’s | rhythm + cross midline exercises

Recovery following brain injury and recovery from stroke as well as living with Parkinson’s Disease can be improved with at home brain injury recovery exercises and exercises involving music. Improving stroke recovery, focus and memory are some goals of the exercises in this video. People with aphasia can benefit from these exercises, as well as survivors looking to boost their stroke recovery or their recovery after brain injury. In the inspiration case report “Rhythmic Exercises in Rehabilitation of TBI Patients: A Case Report” published in the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies in 2010, researchers taught a TBI survivor a series of exercises called Rhythmic Exercises with Auditory Cues where they asked her to cross the midline. Watch to learn what this means, what they found, and what you can do at home right now, whether you’re a person with Parkinson’s, a person with aphasia, a stroke survivor or a brain injury survivor!
