The Making of a Louvre themed Reception decoration:
Tiruttani is a small Town near Chennai - The Groom “Sathish” hails from Tiruttani while the Bride “Payal” is a Mumbaikar - it was a cross-cultural wedding, amalgamation of traditional with modern, Tiruttani is a Temple town while Mumbai is a Metropolitan city.
The Couple had already decided their honeymoon in Paris.
Therefore we envisioned and wanted to bring in a theme from The City of Love, Since the usual french windows are done and dusted multiple times, we wanted to give ourselves something challenging and we decided on Louvre Museum with a traditional twist for the stage decor.
Bringing the Louvre to the temple town , we planned a similar Acrylic structure for the stage , the backdrop was a contemporary flower wall as a tribute to temple town and as a gift to Lord Muruga , we treated the backdrop with full exotic flowers and created a beautiful floral wall.
Added LED in between the floral wall to add a dash of flowing water with LED since Louvre is on the banks of the river Seine which cuts through Paris.
While the ambiance and colours matched the temple walls and temple architecture. The total room of the venue was treated with temple style , and the overall theme was given Reddish maroon to give the dark ambiance similar to temples. Overall it was a classic Decor.
