Описание к видео Alter Eko_Kostelec 2024: European (automotive) industry: Challenges and opportunities

Globalization is not dead but the rules of the “globalization game" are changing. This is why an emerging key competence is flexibility enabling one to react quickly to unexpected challenges and opportunities. These are also appearing as a result of geopolitical friction, due to which nearshoring is among the things being talked about increasingly loudly. However, available data does not confirm the existence of this trend to a greater degree. More details were provided during the 6th “Czech Davos” by OECD Senior Trade Policy Analyst Sébastien Miroudot.

Part 1

Business in a time of uncertainty: From "just in time" to "just in case"

Part 2
18:10

German automotive is not markedly losing its position
Czech companies involved in global chains (also) contribute with quality

Part 3
30:21
Patents indicate that China and Korea are players to be reckoned with
Electromobility has not changed the game, Germany and co. are still among the leaders
