Classic TV Theme: 7th Heaven (Full Stereo)

Описание к видео Classic TV Theme: 7th Heaven (Full Stereo)

The most successful show to air on The WB, '7th Heaven' (1996) outlasted the network, airing its 11th and final season on the CW (the UPN/WB combo that's still around). It was also the last show from Spelling Productions before the company was swallowed up by CBS. Stephen Collins played a married minister bringing up five (later seven) children, but while critics sneered at the 'sappiness and sanctimony' viewers made it tv's longest-running family drama. It helped jump-start the career of Jessica Biel (daughter Mary), but an incident with a risqué photo shoot was a bump in the road. If she did do it deliberately to try to get out of a role she grew to dislike, she thought better of it later and publicly expressed regret. The theme song changed little over 11 seasons: '7 Heaven' was composed by Steve Plunkett, Johnny Rivers, and Jack Tempchin, and sung by Plunkett. The end credits music heard here sounds a lot like the work of the show's main composer, Dan Foliart.
