Throughout her years in the Environmental Education Centre (EEC), Toey was burntout navigating through the expectations placed upon her by both herself and others. As a spokesperson of the centre, she grappled with the impact of her roles. Not only that she was burntout, but there was also a conflicting feeling within herself - trying to balance between her love for nature and her job that requires her to keep purchasing "fashionable" goods. The pink stone is a unique gem that leads Toey to discover new beings, an elephant and a leatherback turtle, which ultimately redefines her definition of love and life.
