Biddulph Valley Coal Train

Описание к видео Biddulph Valley Coal Train

Our journey begins with the run round of Class 24 D5020 at the modified layout of the line running across the A527 road bridge at Chatterley Whitfiel to allow the loco to propel the train of coal wagons towards Stoke. The token is picked up from the signalman at Ford Green box as we then attach a rake of wagons from Norton Colliery just past Ford Green station, the resident colliery shunter giving a hand in the shunt. The floods that were a regular occurrence at the A53 bridge are in evidence as we then have a brake van view of the line with the film terminating at the remains of Bucknall station.
