Here is a snapshot solo’d drums via @parkertozier using mostly all @warmaudio new WA-19s ( 6 in total) This is WA recreations of one of the worlds most famous Beatles dynamic microphones AKG D-19. It’s a real session not staged or I’ve had some Cat play soft…
Real deal recording no polite drums here.
I’ll be taking a technique from the era of only micing bottoms & flipping # bottom Tom’s and snare. When used with OHs mono or stereo not flipped it’s a massive old school sound. Speaking of! almost every record I make I use WA-67s Bonzo Zep styles and yes I added into a Beatle Vs Zep Mashup Ha.
Haters beware No Fs given because this Video is dedicated to all the Cats that can only afford Guitar Center to Sweetwater budgets to make Art.
MVPs @analogrofficial @audioscapeaudio as I used their BA-6A w WA19 on kick shammed into / WA19s OH into AS78s and I forgot to mentions Tom’s into AS 260 VU stereo optical compressor.
