The Tanner Lecture in Human Values are recognized international as major events in the intellectual world. Funded through the generosity of the late Professor of Philosophy, industrialist, and philanthropist, Obert Clark Tanner, and his wife, Grace Tanner, the Tanner Lectures aim to advance and reflect upon the scholarly and scientific learning relating to the human values and valuation. The 2015 lecture featured U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and took place at the University of Michigan on February 6, 2015.
