Every single person who is an expert or master of their craft started as a beginner and had to learn the skills/movements required to become great.

Something we see way too often is players trying to challenge themselves and jumping ahead (to the next step or even a few steps ahead) well before they’re ready.

When learning a new skill, like @chad.mathews08 is here with the sweep shot, we think you should start by simplifying it and trying to master the basics of the movement.

We use underarm feeds to take away a lot of the decisions when batting and therefore allow the batter to focus on certain parts of their movement.
