[Movie Episode 153] GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY: Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Helmeted & Groot HOT TOYS

I haven't done a movie in a while. It seems as if the prices for figures is really getting out of hand these days. That means we have to be more selective.

I am showing the helmeted version of Star-Lord with little Groot. I will then show you the civilian Chris Pratt in the next episode.

Groot cost me $6 to $7 not because I got a great deal on eBay, but I purchased a planter décor piece of Groot from Amazon. I painted him brown (he was originally white with green leaves), and used a very light black wash on him.

He came out well, and I have to say even though I normally don't show masked versions of characters if I have the head, since I now have more room and can show the masked version and the Chris Pratt head version (next episode), I will display him this way. He is so cool this way that is for sure.
