Miss Belvedere: America's Failed Automotive Time Capsule. This is the 1957 Plymouth Belvedere car that was buried in an underground vault on June 15, 1957 on the grounds of the Tulsa, Oklahoma court house. It was intended to be a 50 year time capsule, but when it was unearthed during the Centennial celebration, they discovered that water had penetrated the vault and completely destroyed Miss Belvedere. This car can now be seen in all its' glory at Historic Auto Attractions in Roscoe, Illinois.
