Hiders & Finders Subscription box unboxing & World Postcard Day 2024 celebration

Today, my travels took me to Wickford, where we celebrated World Postcard Day 2024 with our geocaching friends. Officially, it takes place on the 1st of October, but to get the souvenir, we celebrated on the weekend of the 5th of October. I must admit, I wasn't aware of what World Postcard Day was all about. Our host, "Mlocbugs_Dad," had prepared lovely bespoke postcards and printouts. Even the logbook was a postcard!

We signed a postcard to send to the Geocaching headquarters, and everyone who attended received a personal postcard that gets mailed to Scotland for a special stamp before being sent to our selected address. I had the honor of signing two postcards, as Tesco Jarrett didn't do it at the Hylands Park meeting, so I did it for him. However, I need to get his address for the postcard when it gets back to me for re-posting.

Nicola helped me present my "NE Geocaching Supplies" subscription box. I also got a little help with one of the Mystery caches and had a good catch-up with Robin, "RobinHood17." It was a great day!
