Toyota Trucks are NO LONGER the RESALE KINGS!

Goodbye residual values! New generation Toyota pickups are NO LONGER the Resale Kings. Toyota will continue to top the lists on resale trackers -but that's based entirely on the older generation models. Not the new ones. The current generation Toyota Tundra (2022+) and 2024 and up Toyota Tacoma have ruined the resale market for the brand. People don't want to buy the new Tacoma and Tundra, dealers are having to SLASH prices $8-10K for the Tacoma, and 10-12K for the Toyota Tundra. Regardless of trim, SR5, TRD Off Road, TRD Sport, Limited, TRD Pro, Trail Hunter, etc... they're not selling. As a Toyota enthusiast, I find this quite upsetting. How could Toyota Corp let this happen? Chasing green credits to bolster their bottom line for stockholders. It's pretty pathetic... Greed over the consumer.

Building the 2024-2025 Toyota Tacoma entirely out of Mexico is a slap in the face to Americas in my opinion. They moved production from Texas to Mexico to save over 80% in labor costs, only to hike up the prices of Tacomas 25-30%. Pretty sickening. I will NEVER buy another Tacoma, and by the looks of it, I'm not alone in that stance.

Americans have wisened up. They're not putting their hard-earned money toward these new generation Toyotas that offer lackluster build quality and come with faulty powertrains (engines AND transmission). Smh...

Let me know your thoughts. What does Toyota need to do to become RESALE KINGS again? What do they need to do to beat the Ford Ranger, Maverick, GMC Canyon, Chevy Colorado and Nissan Frontier. Something has got to give... and soon.
