Peanut Butter and Onion Sandwich (1939) on Sandwiches of History⁣

Ya know, we’ve done our fair share of peanut and onion sandwiches over the years but we haven’t tackled the Peanut Butter and Onion Sandwich from 1939’s “The American Woman’s Cook Book.” That ends today. Fun fact, sweet onions apparently don’t contain any more sugar than regular onions. They just contain less sulfur so they taste sweeter (cue The More You Know flying graphic and sound).
