India succumbed to a 2-1 loss to Nepal in their second match of the Hero Gold Cup 2019. Nepal scored two goals within the first 10 minutes, one of which was thanks to a horrendous mistake by the Indian custodian Aditi Chauhan.

Indian women were denied by the Nepalese defenders on numerous occasions but did manage to get on the score sheet in the 82nd minute through Ratanbala's free kick however it wasn't enough.

With a win and a loss in two matches, Indians will hope to perform better against Myanmar who're clear on top with two wins out of two.
