Hello dear world,

After I removed my braids I did a henna treatment for strength and did a regular deep conditioning after that. Then I just braided them. This is a 3 day old braid out, so its all stretched and losing the curl definition. 4c hair type huh.. :P

As I mentioned in the video I decided to "document" my journey. I want to see how long I can grow my natural hair if I really take care of it as I should. I noticed a huge difference since I started taking better care of my hair less than a year ago. I have been natural for 2 years and if I knew all that I know now 2 years ago, it would have been all so different. But its ok, because everything happens for a reason. So length check number 1 it is and lets get it started!

While going through this journey I will try to have as much fun as possible and enjoy every single day of it. No stress no, hurries. I'm not "Speedy Gonzales" so I'm just going to chill and relax and grow healthy hair with lots of laughter and happiness. Life doesn't only turn around hair so I will make sure to enjoy all that this life brings with it and share with you all!! And hopefully I will put a smile on somebody's face or make some ones day!
