This video is the third video in our Tutor Training Series. This video was filmed at the Purdue University Writing Lab in the fall of 2015. The goal of this video series is to present writing center best practices to future writing lab tutors.

In this video, the tutor is faced with a tutee that has a laser-like focus on what they want to cover in the tutorial. The tutor has identified more series issues to discuss. However, the tutee is unwilling to consider alternative topics of discussion.
