Ohio is a State of the United States of America located in the East North Central region of the Mid-Western United States. It is bordered by the States of Pennsylvania and West Virginia to the East, Indiana to the West, Michigan and Lake Erie to the North and the state of Kentucky to the South. It also share a water border with the Canadian province of Ontario in the lake Erie.

The State capital of Ohio is Columbus which is also the largest city of the state. The greater Cincinnati is the largest metropolitan area of the State. Other major cities are Cincinnati, Cleveland, Toledo etc. Ohio is the 7th largest state of the US by population and 34th largest State by area.

Politically Ohio is a Battleground swing state. Having 18 electoral college votes Ohio is one of the most important and tough battleground state to win the Presidential election.
