This is just a short video I took of what has become my favourite walk to do with our aging dog. Snow covered Ben Wyvis is shown at the start. The river is fed from the rain and snow melt water from some parts of Ben Wyvis.

There's also some footage of the Cromarty Firth that the river flows into.

Part of the path was washed away in January's storms, which made me wish I'd recorded the river earlier. I have set a reminder to re-record the walk every 3 months.

This was just filmed on my phone and no special microphone and my coat is clearly a little noisy...but you can hear how the river gets louder, the birds tweeting including a very vocal wren!

Mostly taken for my own record, but shared here in case it's of interest. I feel sure one day I'm going to spot an otter on this short stretch of river.
