With its stunning natural beauty and rich Naxi culture, the village's collective efforts – including partnerships with high-end resorts and cultural experiences like Dongba papermaking – have increased local incomes more than tenfold since 2003. Over 95 percent of the villagers remain actively involved, ensuring a prosperous future for this once-remote wonderland.
