The i-collabo.LMS, by NEC Corporation, is an on-demand distance learning where users can view and listen to lectures anywhere anytime. As an internet-based e-learning system, it's useful as a supplement for a regular classes, encourages collaborative learning between students, and fosters communication between teachers and their students.
The i-collabo.LMS has a syllabus style interface with course outlines and can manage classes that go on for several years. Users can view some of the classes even before they start.

"It's an interactive system where students can have discussions with teachers, hand in their reports and take tests. One new feature is that contents can now be distibuted via a podcast."

All the tests, reports, BBS comments, and attendance data can be combined to calculate an overall measurement of a students performance and hence advisers are able to offer more constructive help.
