In this episode, we roll down the East Cape Road (Camino Cabo Este) from Los Barriles to San Jose del Cabo with our friends Jamie and Valerie.

We start with a tasty breakfast at El Caballero Restaurant in Cabo Pulmo and then continue our adventure south to Los Frailes. Los Frailes is a beautiful, secluded bay, with few people. It offers great snorkel spots, awesome paddleboarding and kayaking opportunities.

Our next stop heading south is the out of the way hotel VidaSoul. This was the first time we saw whales this season! We had a great lunch and headed south again.

We passed the popular surf spots, La Fortuna, 9 Palms and Shipwreck before jumping back onto the pavement and heading into San Jose del Cabo.

We wound up having extra time because Lorena's mom's flight was delayed so stopped to wander around at Flora Farms. Jamie and Valerie had never been and it's always cool seeing people's reactions when they go there for the first time. It's an unexpectedly beautiful spot. The flowers, vegetables gardens and abundant plant life are not what you would expect in the desert of Baja Mexico.

After Flora Farms, we make a quick stop for a drink at ACRE. Then a quick stop at the airport to pick up Vero and we roll into the Thursday Night Artwalk. It is always a good time and a great spot to take people for their first visit.
