This feisty little girl bites - hard!

I rescued a plucker budgie named Phillip when another person approached me and asked if I could give her two budgies (Juanita and Chimichanga) a less stressful home. Unfortunately they lived with a cat and Chimi's wing was permanently disfigured, but he survived the cat attack!

They came to me not tamed but after a couple of months of spending time with them, I introduced her to some preening sessions. Juanita actually enjoyed the tweezers :)
