Mardi Gras is one of the largest party celebrations in New Orleans, the major city of the state of Louisiana. Bourbon Street is a center of this nightlife and people get down big time to party. Mardi Gras is a festival you don't want to miss, something that lasts for a week with parades, endless cultural events and music, and lots of partying, it's something that should definitely be on your bucket list. New Orleans is not really a Cheap Charlie destination, especially not during Mardi Gras, but it definitely has the Walking Street and party vibe going on. It's a great city overall with lots of character. Would love to see it again one day during non festival times.
