That special time when big trout show up in shallow march lakes in SE Louisiana is upon us, and like most years, these big springtime trout are mostly interesting in topwater lures. Today five fish over 20 inches long were boated along with many other quality trout. Even the bull reds joined the party and were crushing the topwater baits.
