Angle grinder bearing replacement

Описание к видео Angle grinder bearing replacement

Channeling one of my favorite channels, @AvE, with this one!

The Dodge Dakota build videos take a long time to put together so I figured I'd start throwing some extra videos like this out there to hold you guys over! Especially if you're still quarantined like I am. I had some time after everyone else was asleep to repair this grinder so I decided to fire up the camera so you guys could following along. Nothing complex or difficult, just some good old fashion fixin' on the fabrication man's best friend- the angle grinder. Give it a like if you enjoy it!

One of my old W6-115 Metabo angle grinders (10+ years of service) was not working- RPMs were inconsistent and wandering, and it seemed to be losing power. So here I show you how to disassemble, diagnose, and repair an angle grinder that's broken. Turns out it had a bad motor bearing at the pinion gear. I also show you the best way to deal with a Harbor Freight Drill Master angle grinder that isn't working right.

After finding the problem and fixing it by replacing the bearing, we put it back together, avoid damaging the brushes, and do some basic maintenance while we're there. This is specifically for a Metabo grinder but the process is relatively the same for most standard angle grinders. Thanks for watching!
