UCI Alumni Chapters presents Wellness Wednesdays, a weekly series of alumni presentations promoting wellness and hope. Join us as we come together each Wednesday to bring light to all Anteaters across the globe during this trying time.

This week’s focus is on career strategies. As we face today's difficult challenges, it is imperative to set yourself up for success. It's not necessarily the most qualified individuals who get the job, but those who know how to make a great impression. Top candidates are able to identify and confidently articulate their strengths, skills, and fit to potential employers. Wherever you are in your career journey, Neda Moayedi '11 will help us explore tips, tools, and strategies for navigating your career during uncertain times. Join us on May 6! About Our Speaker:

Neda Moayedi is a proud UC Irvine alumna and the Director of the SAGE Scholars Program at the Center for Educational Partnerships at UC Irvine. In her previous role, she worked in the Division of Career Pathways, supporting graduate students, across all disciplines, to help them discover their career potential. Neda has over 12 years of industry experience, including extensive experience in career coaching, teaching career courses, and facilitating professional development workshops.

In addition to career services, Neda has a long-standing mindfulness and meditation practice, which she infuses into the classroom and her coaching sessions. Neda is dedicated to empowering others to thrive by sharing a combination of wellness strategies, strength-based leadership development and a variety of resources, tools, and practices for clients to create their own definition and roadmap to success.

Being an educator, mentor, and advocate fuels Neda’s desire to give back to the UCI community. Currently, she serves as the President of the Iranian-American Alumni Chapter. Neda’s personal mission is to encourage others to realize (and celebrate) their potential within, and to break down the barriers they may encounter on the journey to achieving their American Dream.
