PF KYC Update Process

Step 1: Visit EPFO Member Portal

Go to EPFO Unified Member Portal.


Step 2: Login

Log in using your UAN (Universal Account Number) and password.

Enter the captcha and click “Sign In”.


Step 3: Navigate to KYC Section

After login, click on the “Manage” tab on the top menu.

Select “KYC” from the dropdown.


Step 4: Update/Add KYC Documents

You will see different options to add or update your KYC documents such as:

Aadhaar

PAN

Passport

Voter ID

Driving License

Bank Account details


Enter or update the relevant details.

Upload scanned copies or input details if required.


Step 5: Save the Details

After entering the updated information, click “Save”.

Your updated KYC details will be submitted for verification.


Step 6: Employer Verification

Your employer must verify the updated KYC details.

Once the employer approves, EPFO verifies it.


Step 7: Check KYC Status

You can check if your KYC status is “Pending” or “Approved” in the same KYC section.

Once approved, your KYC is updated in the EPFO records.

Important Tips:

You can only update your KYC details if your UAN is activated.

Some documents like Aadhaar require OTP verification during the update.

If your employer doesn’t approve KYC updates, follow up with your HR.

For bank details update, ensure your account is in your name.
