Memorable Heroic Deaths

Ever had a character's death that was very memorable and heroic in your games? Did it spark emotion from your players at the table? Did it spark emotion from the DM/GM? Did their death go down in the annuals of your RPG's? Was it that Boromir moment of someone who gave themselves to save their friends and compatriots.
