Features I like about the Skywave 2:
Excellent Headphone Experience on All the Bands with the Included CC Buds.
FM Reception is well Above Average.
Shortwave Browsing is Fast, and Sensitive. Will Pick Faint Signals During a Search with no Issue.
External Antenna Jack. Works Great for Pulling in more SW Stations.
Charges NiMH Batteries more Efficiently.
Four Hundred Presets.
Responsive Squelch on the AIR band.
Weather Alert works while the Radio is on.
Sixty to Seventy Hours on a Pair of AA Batteries. Either Alkaline, or NiMHs.
Compact Size.
Auto Tuning System.
Decent AIR band Reception.
Above Average WX Reception.
Decent MW Reception.

Features that could be Added or Improved On:
Include a Wire Antenna that will Utilize the new Jack. Many other Radios Provide this.
A more robust Speaker...one day.

Overall, the CC Skywave 2 is a Worthy Successor to the Original. The Headphone Audio blew me away! What a Lovely Radio. One to seriously Consider when shopping for a compact, FM Stereo, Weather Alert, AIR, and Shortwave Band Radio.
