Pierogi dough recipe part 1 | Polish food

Making Pirogi and Pierogi Dough (Ciasto na pierogi) is a time consuming but it can be so much fun, an great sensory activity for kids, plus it won’t even feel like work. So today I would like to show you how to make dough for Pirogi as fun sensory activity for toddlers and kids.

I will put the recipe for a Pierogi "Ruskie" in the card so check out the full recipe for the traditional Polish stuffing- and yes I also make it into an activity for kids.

INGREDIENTS:
for about 50 pierogi - 1 meal for 4 people

Dough:
1 cup of all purpose flour
1 tsp pinch of salt
1/2 cup of boiling water
1 beaten egg
1/2 tbsp of butter
