A 1936 Austin 18/6 York, Registration No. DGO 332, finished in green and black. First Registered on 21/10/1936. 2,510 cc., Chassis No. 48221/18, Engine No. IEE 8993/18. Currently showing 11,846 miles (Not warranted correct). The family acquired her on 01/07/1988. A V5C is present. Previous owners were from the Greenwich and Bexley areas. The Information folder includes various M.O.T. certificates from 1988 to 2006, "Austin Sixteen & Eighteen List of Spare Parts", Supplementary Spare Parts List, Motoring Oiling Chart, and an extract from the Nov. 1st 1935 edition of The AutoCar with the Road Test of the 18 h.p. Austin York Saloon. The six-cylinder engine runs, as would be expected, very smoothly indeed and there is room for extended family in the limousine-like interior, which has a capacious rear passenger area with a rear bench seat for three and two fold-down occasional seats. A new 12 volt battery is fitted.
