Sorare Legends - Franco Baresi 1989-90 - Milan's Player of the Century

Franco Baresi's first AC Milan Legends card has landed on Sorare. 🇮🇹

The emblematic Milan captain, Franco Baresi, also known as the "Golden Wall", was instrumental in the 1989-90 season under Sacchi, to win a second European Cup in 1990.

He was the captain of the most dominant Milan team we have ever seen, from 1988 to 1990, with players such as Carlo Ancelotti, Marco van Basten, Ruud Gullit, Frank Rijkaard, Zvonimir Boban, Marcel Desailly, George Weah, Jean-Pierre Papin, Brian Laudrup and Roberto Baggio.

In his 20 seasons with Milan, he won six Serie A titles, three European Cup/UEFA Champions League titles (reaching five finals in total), two Intercontinental Cups (four finals in total), four European Supercups (five finals in total), four Supercoppa Italiana (five finals in total), two Serie B titles and a Mitropa Cup.

The rest is history.
