HOW TO transfer heights automatically with the Hilti PR 30-HVS rotating laser level

It is easy to transfer a height from a reference point to an other point with the automatic leveling option. Step-by-step process :

① Unpack the tripod and set it up on a level surface.
② Mount the rotating laser on the adapter.
③ Before switching the system on, pair the devices (rotating laser and receiver, automatic tripod and receiver) by pressing and holding the on/off buttons on the devices for 3 seconds. A chain symbol will appear on the PRA 30 receiver.
④ Also switch on the tripod and receiver.
⑤ Walk to the reference height and align the marking with the laser receiver.
⑥ Auto-align the horizontal plane by clicking the auto-align button on receiver twice (quick double click).
⑦ Wait while the tripod adjusts the height automatically.
⑧ When done, a long beep is emitted and the receiver can then be removed.
⑨ Walk to the location to which the height is to be transferred and search for the beam with the laser receiver.
⑩ Use a marker pen to mark the height on the wall.
⑪ Continue to the next location.
