Lots of compromises in this one.

Strings - I think I figured out the dynamics of the strings! It seems, from analyzing the waveform, that the strings in FF6 were mixed with some kind of spicatto or marcato sample, as the strings from the S50 are offset, as well as there seems to be some kind of attack to them. IMO it's the viola/violin samples from the S50 mixed (possibly?) but anyway, I think this is the closest I've come to their sound!

The FF6 synth bass I know the source of. It's a chorused moog sample that was on the Club 50 Master Performance disc but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I do HAVE the sample from Club 50 but it's mono. I thought it might be more fun to try to remake it with a Moog VST. I got pretty close right?

The FF6 percussive organ.. I remade it using a hammond VST. I think it got pretty dang close too

The snare is from the M1 but the M1 snare is WAY TOO clean. The one from FF6 is over EQ'd and compressed, so I gated it and made it more punchy. I also threw in a bit of snare plate reverb processing in there to give it some flavour.
