April 25, 2019 – We are losing a lot of musicians and fans are saying it's starting to look like 2016 again where we lost too many. One of the latest was longtime UFO guitarist and keyboardist Paul Raymond. We asked former Scorpions guitarist Uli Jon Roth if he knew him?

This was part one of a 9-part series with Uli Jon Roth which will include a special Track-by-Track look at that first album he did after leaving the Scorpions with his new band Electric Sun and the album “Earthquake” from 1979. It will premier on May 5th. There are some interesting stories behind that album. In this series Uli will talk about the fight that's going on with the Schenker brothers, he shares a wonderful hidden talent, an interesting history with Jim Hendrix and what part of the Beatles he loved and another side he was not crazy about. - by John Beaudin

John Beaudin has been in major market radio (Edmonton, Vancouver & Calgary) for 35 years and a music journalist since 1989. He graduated from Broadcasting school as a newsman so he would have the skills to write about the artists that inspired him since he bought his first album, “Madman Across The Water” by Elton John as a teen. In the '80s Beaudin was the host of the syndicated radio show “The Cross Canada Report” which had two versions (Rock and A/C). Beaudin was also asked to be a judge at the Juno Awards (Canada's answer to the Grammys) Twice. He has anchored every position in radio including morning and afternoon drive and was a Program and Music Director for The Breeze and California 103 in Calgary. He currently hosts the popular Lovesongs at QM-FM in Vancouver and on iHeartRadio.
