Day 9 of the Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB) takes you from the stunning lakeside village of Champex-Lac to the peaceful hamlet of Le Peuty, offering a journey through diverse landscapes and challenging ascents. The hike begins with a gentle walk through the picturesque town of Champex-Lac, surrounded by alpine forests and the crystal-clear waters of the lake. As you leave the lake behind, the trail leads you through lush meadows and into the serene Val Ferret, where you'll be greeted by panoramic views of towering peaks and glaciers.

One of the highlights of this stage is the climb to the Col de la Forclaz, a mountain pass that offers breathtaking vistas over the surrounding valleys.
