Conflict and Community in a 19th Century Welsh Village

Take a trip down my Family Tree to my 3x great uncle, Griffith Charles Davies, who went to court under charges of drunkenness and disorderliness. However, the police constable who took him there likely didn’t expect the case to turn out like it did. By looking at small cases like these, we can learn some important things about small, late-19th C. Welsh communities and how they approach conflict resolution.
