SAMTRONIC Passive 5.25" Woofer 4" Ribbon Tweeter Bookshelf Speakers Review

This review was a little thought-provoking, because I didn’t have any reference point to start with concerning Ribbon tweeters, I wanted to make sure I was being fair; so I started with one of my Test sound Tracks for a few hours on a somewhat low volume, so when a started my listening test, they were not very loud, and for a while my opinion was that these speakers were just okay, but I will still give them more time to be broken in. the next step was to pick a selection of tracks that I’m very familiar with, and I then turned up the volume; and there it was, the separation, the sound stage, the clarity and the body, and well balance sounding to me just what would make these speakers more than just okay, now they were sounding very good, not great but very good, and like I said they will be given more time to be broken in. They are nice looking speakers but I still wish they had covers, and they are a pretty nice size, and are rear ported. It looks like they come in black without covers and brown with covers for a little more, so I guess that would be customer’s choice
I do think that for this price a 5.25-inch Woofer and 4-inch Super Ribbon Tweeter may be a good bargain
Impendence is 4ohms with a Frequency response between 45-20KHz and a Sensitivity of 89+-2dB

So let me say that I do like these speakers and I usually will give speakers more test time than I gave these, but I really wanted to post this review, and they are already sounding very good. Now they do sound pretty well balanced to me but they also have got some personality, not boring at all.
So for my first pair of Ribbon tweeter speaker, I will say these are a definite YES
