S Aishwarya & S Saundarya are amongst the most popular musicians from the younger generation. Both of them are the Great Grand Daughters of Bharat Ratna M.S. Subbulakshmi & the Grand Daughters of Dr Radha Viswanathan and the torch bearers of the MSS legacy.

Aishwarya began her first lessons directly from MS Amma and Radha
Viswanathan when she was hardly 4 years old on Vijayadashami Day.
The huge repertoire of songs which was part of the MS Bani, was painstakingly
taught to Aishwarya by her Grandmother Dr Radha for a period of almost 20
years.

Aishwarya has also been learning from Vidushi Smt Jambu
Kannan for the last 18 years. She is a proficient Veena player too training in the
reputed Karaikudi style from Sri A Shankar Raman and Smt B Nagalakshmi.

Aishwarya has won various awards from many organisations most notably
being designated as the Ambassador of Classical Arts by the Connecticut State
Assembly in 2016. She was named as the rising star of Carnatic Music by the
AMN Global Group in March 2017. She has also won the Vocational Excellence
Award from the Rotary Club of India and the Young Achiever Award from the
A3 Foundation – Chandigarh in the year 2016.

S. Saundarya has been learning under the guidance of Sangitha Kala Acharya
Smt Neela Ramgopal for 5 years. She is also training on the violin under the
tutelage of Smt Anuthama Murali and Sri Vishwajith Mattur. Saundarya has completed her Level 3 in ABRSM in Western Violin too and she trains under Sri Profulla Mondal.

She is an upcoming dancer too training under the Vazhuvoor Bani from Smt Sumitra
Nitin.

Both the sisters Aishwarya & Saundarya also learn Hindustani Music under
Pandit Nagaraj Rao Havaldar and Sri Omkarnath Havaldar.

In Oct 2017 both the sisters Aishwarya & Saundarya were invited by the Indian
Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi to sing at his residence wherein they sang
the composition “Maithreem Bhajatha” of Mahaperiaval of Kanchi which was
composed for World Peace and sung at the United Nations in 1966 by Smt M S
Subbulakshmi & Smt Radha Viswanathan.

S.Aishwarya and S.Saundarya are indeed extremely delighted to present the divine composition of the eternal poet Kalki Sri R Krishnamurthy – “Kaatrinilay Varum Geetham” which their Great Grandmother Bharat Ratna M.S.Subbulakshmi immortalised in the movie “Meera” (produced by Sri T Sadasivam under the banner of Chandraprabha Cinetone and directed by Ellis R Dungan). The Music Director was Sri S V Venkataraman.

நிலா மலர்ந்த இரவினில் தென்றல் உலாவிடும் நதியில் –
