This video shows the process of planning an offshore route from Palm Beach, FL to Newport, RI. We will try to ride the Gulf Stream current to pick up some speed. Route planning was done using Nobeltec Trident charting software. Note that early in the video the camera is not perfectly positioned so you can't see the toolbar on the left side of the screen, but just trust me, it's there!

Note to viewers - this is intended as a more technical video to show how a trip is planned. It's not a cruising video so if you are looking for actual underway footage, skip this one!
