My Macbook 13 inch Retina 2015 was running extremely hot unter minimal load. After opening photos, you could here the fans scream. I was at the point of replacing it with the newer Macbook Pro Generation, but want to keep my USB-A ports.

After a repaste the macbook came to life again.

Name of the thermal paste: Noctua NT-H1
