Mysterio is a master illusionist who never gets the recognition he deserves. In pursuit of fame, he turns to a life of criminal conquest and uses his Hollywood training as a special effects artist to create mind-blowing visions. Beck is a skilled conjurer, hypnotist, stuntman, costume artist, chemist, special effects designer and roboticist. After facing off against Spider-Man and being defeated by him, he makes it his goal to take down his number one enemy, Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man.
