1) Roman Forum of Philippopolis
The Roman Forum of Philippopolis is a rectangular forum surrounded by the ruins of several ancient administrative buildings at the centre of Plovdiv. It was the centre of public, administrative, commercial, and religious life in the ancient city. Meetings, discussions, celebrations and state events were held there.

The ancient city centre was built in the 1st century AD during the reign of the Emperor Vespasian, when ancient Philippopolis was laid out with a new urban plan and a forum according to the Roman Model. The Roman Forum of Philippopolis is located near Plovdiv's main pedestrian street.

2) Main Street Knyaz Aleksandar I
The Statue of Milio is located among the main pedestrian street on the centre of the city. Over the years, it has become an emblematic place where locals and visitors often stop by to take pictures. The locals once described him as extremely clever as he spoke several languages and was always reading books.

Some say the longest pedestrian street is located in Bordeaux, France. Plovdiv in Bulgaria also applies for this primacy as its pedestrian street reaches 1.75km. Most of the houses on the main streets were built in the early 20th century. Their architecture has elements of the classicism, the secession, and the postmodernism.

3) Stadium of Philippopolis
Built in the 2nd century AD, during the Roman Imperial period, it is among the largest and best preserved buildings in the Balkan Peninsula. The stadium, approximately 250m long and 50m wide, could seat up to 30,000 spectators.
