It's hard to follow-up strongly when you start off with a  home run, but it looks like Jamie Miller has a few tricks up his sleeve. Released in early October, the songs on the LA singer's new 'The Things I Left Unsaid' EP prove that last year's "Here's Your Perfect" was no fluke. The Cardiff, Wales native has a charming accent and the ability to wear his heart on his sleeve during a ballad. It's a skill that quickly woos listeners. One or two spins of 2021's "Here's Your Perfect" is all that's needed to fall for its runaway romance. UK pop fans first heard of our guy in 2017, when he claimed third place on 'The Voice' with a cool performance of "What Do You Mean" and a fun duet with Jennifer Hudson. As each new track dropped, his emotional authority increased. It's exciting to see artistic talent level up and stretch out. "City That Never Sleeps," "Hold You 'Til We're Old," "Onto Something" - by the time he shared 2022's 'Broken Memories' EP, and picked up praise from Sam Smith, BLACKPINK, Kelly Clarkson, and P!nk, the 26-year-old was on a fast track. These days he says his parents are aghast at the fact that he's picked up a bit of an American accent. We say all his inflections sounded just right when he hit our studio for performances of "Rooting For You" and and "Empty Room," a song inspired by his grandmother's passing.
