This 1960 Gibson Melody Maker has all of the great first-year 1959 specs that make these student electrics so cool. This guitar was acquired from its original owner, who received it from his parents new in 1960. Thankfully it survived with very little changes throughout the decades, and we're here to celebrate that!

‪@dukelevine6995‬ shows us the tele-like sizzle and P90-esque bite these early Melody Makers can deliver. He's plugged into a Victoria Amps Victoriette 1x12 combo and is using a JAM Pedals Rattler LTD in low gain setting overdrive for dirt tones. What a sound!
