Denis Kapustin, also known as Denis Nikitin or his nom-de-guerre White Rex was originally an MMA fighter in Russias hooligan scene. Born in the Soviet Union, Kapustin's family who was of German, Russian, and potentially Jewish descent would move to Germany in 2001. He would start his own clothing brand in the underground Right-Wing MMA scene known as "White Rex" but would eventually found something much greater.
Residing in Ukraine since 2019, Kapustin's nationalist views would differ from the traditional Putinist or Vatnik line, seeing Ukrainians as brothers and wishing for a smaller, ethnically Russian state.
When Russia launched it's full scale invasion in 2022, Kapustin would become the founder and commander of the "Russian Volunteer Corps" or RVC/RDK. Originally making cross border raids into Russian territory with other opposition forces, they began fighting in the Vovchansk and Zaporizhzhia sectors after March 2024 where they proved to be effective. This allowed them to build up a sizeable force, which would include some naval assets.
On December 27th, 2025. Kapustin was killed fighting on the frontline by a Russian FPV drone. Thousands; Christian, Pagan, Ukrainian, Russian, and many more mourned his death and as of writing this are still doing so. It is unkown who will become the new commander after Kapustins death, but no matter what; he will never be forgotten.
