Cassandra Clare is the author of The Mortal Instruments series, and its expanded world, The Shadowhunter Chronicles. The series has sold over 36 million copies, and reached number one on the New York Times best seller list for children. She has won multiple awards, including the Georgia Peach Book Award for Teen Readers and the American Library Association Teens Top Ten, and recently completed the Magisterium series, coauthored with Holly Black.
